DryerVentSquad of Capital Region

Deep cleaning of the entire exhaust path from the back of the dryer to the exterior exit using professional air tools, HEPA vacuums, and brushes to clear combustible lint, clogs, and dust.

Servicing multi-unit housing complexes, apartment buildings, laundromats, hotels, and property-managed buildings with professional dryer exhaust maintenance.

Clearing heavy, localized blockages such as packed lint mats, bird nests, or external debris that restrict airflow through the vent line.

Taping, sealing, and securing loose or leaking pipe joints to prevent lint and high-moisture air from escaping into walls, crawlspaces, or attics.

Replacing damaged, standard plastic exterior vent flaps with functioning, builder-grade or standard metal wall hoods and roof terminations.

Replace hazardous foil accordion hoses with UL-listed flexible metal transition duct.

Installing physical mesh cages or specialized pest-proof caps over exterior vents to prevent birds, squirrels, and mice from nesting inside the line.

Altering the physical path of the ductwork to make it shorter or eliminate unnecessary elbows, drastically improving dryer efficiency and reducing future lint buildup.

Planning and cutting entirely new vent paths through exterior walls or roofs for new laundry room additions or layout modifications.

Installing inline exhaust fans that automatically activate to assist airflow in homes where the vent path is vertically or horizontally too long, exceeding standard building codes.

Cleaning out the internal housing of the dryer unit itself — beyond just the slide-out screen — where loose lint often bypasses the filter and collects near the heating element.
